What is MICA?
The name "mica" is derived from the Latin "micare," which means "to glitter" or also "to shine". Mica is a naturally occurring group of silicate minerals that has a perfect basal cleavage, easily splits into thin luminae, and is most often translucent in appearance. It has been used as a gleaming decorative element since prehistoric times; in fact, the earliest usage of mica was found in cave paintings made during the Paleolithic period!Materials: Mica flakes
Colors: Black, silver white, brown, gold, golden red, light green, dark green etc.
Sizes: 4-6mesh(4-8mm), 6-10mesh(2-4mm), 10-20mesh(1-2mm), 20-40mesh, 40-80mesh etc.

Mica flakes offer a wide variety of aesthetic effects which become achievable with two different particle sizes and colours. The achieved finishes can be described as granite, flecked, glittering/sparkling or metallic lustre.
All colours and grades are resistant to UV, weather, chemical and thermal degradation and also compatible with a choice of organic and inorganic matrices and systems.
