Product Parameters

Rock wool is a perfect moisture control material that holds in water and nutrients essential for plant growth. With the rockwool woven, the material simulates a comfortable soil media that plants love without the risk of clogged systems. Less clogs means less labor intensive growing.

Stonewool Grow 40" x 8" x 3" Slabs provide even root distribution with balanced air and moisture retention for optimum flowering, suitable for large crops during the final plant phase. Slabs are contained in UV safe sleeves, protecting roots from light and algae.

Balanced water retention and air ratio lead to the reduction of algae, our slabs are compatible with any block for transplanting and optimum root distribution makes Stonewool Grow Blocks the ideal medium for the final flowering phase.

Preparation: Rock wool has a naturally high pH of 7 to 8. Prepare a solution of slightly acidic water (pH 5.5 to 6.5) by adding several drops of lemon juice. Soak the rockwool cubes in this solution for about 2 hours.

Sowing Seed: Place 1 or 2 seeds in the hole at the top of the rockwool growing medium. Water using a hydroponic nutrient solution. When the plants are 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7.6 cm.) tall, they can be transplanted into soil or placed in a hydroponic garden.
